Caroline Anders

Caroline Anders is a multidisciplinary artist based in Wells, British Columbia. Her work focuses on northern landscape, local history, and the tension between industry and community. She builds stories through painting, printmaking, photography, and long-form narrative. Her ongoing book project, The Winze Files, blends fiction with real environmental pressure points and the lived experience of a remote mountain town.

Caroline Creates studio practice encompasses lino-cut prints, atmospheric paintings, field recordings, and documentary-style notes from the region in which she works. Her visual language pulls from mining maps, folklore, geology, and the emotional weight of place. She has exhibited locally, published independently, and is currently preparing Volume Two: Beneath The Lake, of The Winze Files series.

Her work documents a changing landscape with clear eyes and sharp detail. It is rooted in observation and driven by a desire to record what is happening above and below the surface.
